Every now and then…okay who am I kidding, all the time, I have recipes slide across my facebook feed that look amazing. This week I was inspired by a recipe that had been shared, and shared and came back to being a Batali recipe for an olive oil orange cake. I immediately thought of the variety of wonderful citrus that The Intuitive Forager brings weekly to the Downtown 3rd and Downtown Summerlin farmers markets and knew this was the direction I was going in. The recipe called for the zest of 6 oranges and I thought…what if I mix it up and used a variety of oranges and tangerines. So I headed to the market and told Stu my plan. He suggested using the Marcott tangerines and I picked up a blood orange, a golden nugget tangerine and a Cara Cara orange as well. (repost from 4farm2mrkt.com)
